What is the Platform Team?
The Platform Team plays a critical part in helping us create an environment in which the people of TGC can encounter Jesus. Each weekend, there are three primary ways that members of the Platform Team participate in our gatherings (click the roles to the right to learn more).

The MC/Host is responsible for the order/flow of the gathering. It’s so much more than just reciting announcements. The MC is there to host the gathering with purpose, aid in the flow of multiple elements, and help the congregation understand what is going on and the why behind it. It's ultimately about connecting people to Jesus and one another.
An effective MC is one who is authentic, can read the service, observe what is going on and be dynamic, knowing what the atmosphere of the service needs.

The Prayer/Praise Spot is a moment set aside in every gathering for us to focus in on prayer. Jesus said, in Mt. 21:13, that His Father’s house should be a house of prayer.
